'‘Star Wars: Episode VIII" Release Date- December 15, 2017
Disney has postponed the release date of ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ by seven months. Star Wars will now hit the theatres on December 15, 2017. The release date has been pushed back as after the huge success of The Force Awakens, Disney wants Episode VIII to also release during the Christmas break reportedly.
Instead of that, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ will release on May 26, 2017. Earlier, the Johnny Depp starrer film was supposed to release on July 7. Meanwhile, the makers will get more time to work on the Star Wars movie.
Rian Johnson will helm Star Wars: Episode VIII. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac will reprise their roles from the last film. Mark Hamill will also return with his character as Luke Skywalker.

Jason Kelly attends his grandmother's funeral, where he reunites with his grandfather, Army veteran Dick, who is now widowed after 40 years of marriage. Jason and Dick were once very close, but have since drifted apart, mainly due to Jason's new job as a corporate attorney, where he works with his father David. After the funeral, Dick personally requests that Jason drive him from his home in Georgia to Boca Raton, Florida. Jason is uncomfortable with the situation, as well as his uptight and controlling fiancee Meredith Goldstein, but reluctantly agrees to do so.The next day, Jason walks in on Dick playing music records and masturbating to pornography. Officially beginning their journey, Dick chides Jason for giving up his dream of becoming a photographer and traveling the world, but Jason insists he is happy in his current position. While stopping at a diner, the duo encounter Shadia, a former classmate of Jason's from his photography class, as well as her friends Lenore who needs to finish her trifecta (sleep with a freshman, alumni & a professor) and Bradley. Dick introduces himself as a college professor and Jason as a photographer for Time Magazine, leaving out his family connections. Lenore, who wants to sleep with Dick, invites the duo to join them in their quest to Daytona Beach, where they are headed for spring break, but Jason insists they should carry on to Boca.
Afterwards, Jason and Dick hit the golf course, where Dick flirts with women while denying his relationship with Jason. Jason is shocked that his grandfather would flirt with women immediately after his wife's funeral, but Dick proclaims it's okay because he was never unfaithful to his wife during forty years of marriage, claiming he hasn't had sex for fifteen years because of his wife's cancer and that she insisted he "get back out there". Hearing Dick's plea, Jason reluctantly agrees to go to Daytona.
Upon their arrival in Daytona, Jason and Dick meet up with Shadia and Lenore on the beach, where they also meet the girls' boyfriends Cody and Brah, both of whom Dick takes an immediate disliking to. Dick laces his own drink with Xanax, but Jason accidentally drinks it while competing in a drinking game. While partying with the girls, Dick witnesses, and records, Jason, wearing nothing but a hornet fanny pack, partying while highly intoxicated, and smoking crack from a local shop owner/drug dealer Pam (Jason Mantzoukas). Jason later steals a motorcycle and drives off.
Jason awakens the next day on the beach, where he endures an awkward FaceTime conversation with Meredith and his family. He's later approached by a young boy who wants to touch the hornet fanny pack, but is caught by the boy's furious father, who believes Jason is a pedophile. Jason winds up in jail over the incident, but Dick posts his bail. Furious with Dick over the previous night's events, Jason tries to drop him off with his old war buddy Stinky, but Dick is heartbroken to see his friend stuck in a wheelchair in a retirement home. Stinky's dire situation helps Dick convince Jason that they need to go back to Daytona.
Returning to Daytona, the duo reunite with Shadia and Lenore at a beach party hosted by Pam. They soon enter a "flex-off" against Cody and Brah, winning over the crowd with a wild stunt that they used to do when Jason was a kid. However, Jason forces them to flee, as the crowd is recording the event on their phones, and Jason doesn't want to be caught on film. With Cody and Brah winning the flex-off by default, Dick alters an T-shirt cannon to fire beer cans at the winning duo, hospitalizing them. Dick reveals to Jason that he was part of a Special Forces group in the Army, rather than just a mechanic. With Cody and Brah in the hospital, Jason and Dick take their hotel room. The next night, the duo go to a popular nightclub with Shadia, Lenore, and Bradley. Seeing a gang pick on Bradley for his homosexuality, Dick single-handedly takes down the gang, who vows revenge. Despite the chaos, Dick admits he is proud of Jason, who agrees to give Dick some private time so Dick can sleep with Lenore.
The next day, Jason spends some private time with Shadia, who reveals her own intentions to travel the world, and is leaving shortly after the trip. They nearly share a kiss, but are interrupted by a call from Bradley, who reveals that Dick and Lenore have been kidnapped by the gang from the club. They track them down to a motel, where Dick's charming demeanor has won over the gang, and they all go to a karaoke bar to celebrate. As Jason and Shadia serenade the crowd with a love song, Cody, released from the hospital, sneaks into Dick's jacket and finds a valid driver's license. After they return to the hotel, Jason and Dick share a heartfelt conversation, where Jason reveals he will call off his wedding, and plans to reveal the truth to Shadia, much to Dick's horror as he hasn't slept with Lenore yet. However, Cody and Brah, using Dick's driver's license to look them up, have already revealed the ruse to the girls (though Lenore seems unfazed by the news) and also reveal to Shadia that Jason is engaged, thanks to a wedding announcement seen online. A heartbroken Shadia tells Jason to never talk to her again, and Jason is soon arrested again, for carrying drugs. Dick bails Jason out again, but a furious Jason demands that Dick stay away from him, driving back to Georgia alone. Dick soon mails Jason a new camera and an inappropriate crochet Stinky made.
At Jason and Meredith's wedding rehearsal dinner, a slide show featuring romantic photos of the couple is hacked by Dick, who inserts inappropriate photos from their Daytona trip. Viewing the photos, Jason realizes he can't go through with the wedding and calls off his engagement, to which Meredith reacts indifferently, as she slept with Jason's cousin Nick (Adam Pally) while he was gone and she herself wasn't really happy in the relationship either. Jason then reunites with Dick, who has enlisted Pam's help in stopping Shadia's bus to admit his true feelings for her. During a wild car chase, in which they are joined by David and chased by cops, eventually Jason is able to reunite with Shadia, and offers to join her in her photography trip around the world. Iru Mugan (English: Two-faced) is an Upcoming Indian Tamil Supper hit science fiction & thriller film written and directed by Anand Shankar. The film features Vikram, Nayantara and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. Having gone through several changes of cast and producers, the film began production in December 2015.
Director Anand Shankar and Vikram were first announced to be collaborating in October 2014, with producer S. Thanu financing the venture. Anand Shankar completed the script throughout early 2015 and toured Malaysia to find locations, while Vikram completed his other projects. Kajal Aggarwal and Priya Anand were signed on to portray the lead actresses, while Manush Nandan and Anirudh Ravichander were approached to be the film's cinematographer and compose the film's music, respectively. The project was titled as Marma Manithan and was reported to begin shooting in Malaysia from June 2015. Instead, production disputes took place during June 2015 after Ayngaran International also announced their interest in producing the film, with Thanu attempting to hand over the rights of the film. Priya Anand also opted out of the film, with Bindu Madhavi announced as her replacement.The ongoing changes subsequently stopped the team beginning their shoot in Malaysia during July 2015 and the production was stalled.The delays meant that Vikram stopped waiting for the makers to begin work, changed his specially-prepared facial hair and went back to add finishing touches to his other ongoing project, 10 Endrathukulla (2015)
Idhu Namma Aalu (English: That's my Girl) is an upcoming Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by Pandiraj. The film features Silambarasan, Nayantara and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles, while Soori and Jayaprakash portray supporting roles. Produced by T. Rajender and featuring music by Kuralarasan, the film has been in production since 2013.
Pandiraj had written a love story and approached Silambarasan to play the lead role in the film, after his friend Poster Nandakumar helped set up a meeting. Reports of a collaboration between Silambarasan and Pandiraj first surfaced in the media during April 2013, and subsequently it was revealed that the pair would work on a romantic film to be produced by T. Rajender under Silambarasan's home production studio. Kuralarasan, Rajender's second son and Silambarasan's younger brother, was signed by Rajendar to make his debut as the film's music composer during July 2013. Pandiraj continued to work on the script throughout the middle of 2013.Comedians Soori and Santhanam were also revealed to be a part of the film, in an official press note, which confirmed that Balasubramaniem and Praveen K. L. would handle the cinematography and editing respectively. Aware that he and Silambarasan had different working styles, Pandiraj revealed that he told the actor that the film had to be completed within four months and Silambarasan was receptive of the idea.

After the success of his debut venture, director Balaji began pre-production on his second film titled Seethakathi for producers Vasan's Visual Ventures. However after a year of scripting, Balaji announced that he had temporarily stalled the venture and would resume it later in his career. In August 2014, he subsequently made an official announcement that his next venture would be titled Oru Pakka Kathai and would feature Kalidas Jayaram, son of actor Jayaram in the lead role. The launch for the movie was held on 1 September 2014 at Prasad Lab in Vadapalani and Kamal Haasan showed up for the event to introduce Kalidas to the audience.The movie is being produced by K. S. Sreenivasan under the banner of Vasan's Visual Ventures.

Filming
The film began production in Chennai during early July 2015 and an introductory song for Vijay was shot in the city, followed by scenes featuring the actor and Samantha on the East Coast Road. Further scenes in Chennai were shot at Adityaram Studios and at Binny Mills, where art director T. Muthuraj had erected a huge set. Raadhika Sarathkumar was also a part of the shoot, while actress Sunaina shot for one day in the schedule which ended in mid July 2015.The second schedule for the film restarted in Chennai during August 2015 and went on for twenty five days. Vijay and Samantha participated in shooting of the month, while production was briefly delayed owing to a strike held by the Tamil Film Producers council against FEFSI employees. MGM Dizzee World on the East Coast Road was also used as a location to film sequences during August 2015. A further schedule began again for a month long shoot in September 2015 in Chennai.
In November 2015, it was revealed that the film was "seventy percent complete" and portions involving Samantha had finished being shot. Thereafter, Amy Jackson subsequently joined the team in Chennai to shoot for her part during a new schedule. Action scenes, choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan were filmed throughout the month, with the shoot disrupted by the heavy flooding in Chennai. Hollywood action choreographer Kaloyan Vodenicharov worked with the team in early December 2015 to help shoot the climax portions for the film. Poor climatic conditions in China meant that the team had to abandon their idea of filming sequences there and instead opted to shoot in Bangkok.Sets were erected in a factory in Chennai to shoot the climax scenes, with stunt choreographer Kaloyan Vodenicharov recruited to help train artistes and film the sequences during December 2015.

The development dates back to 2009, where the film was to feature actors Vikram and Ileana D'Cruz in lead roles. However, in February 2010, the project was dropped due to difference in opinions between director, producer and actor, facing rejection of the refined script. In August 2014, Suriya agreed to produce and act in the film, with principal photography commencing in Mumbai in April 2015, continuing in Nasik, Goregaon and Pune. The second phase of filming was done in Poland by end-September 2015. Filming was completed in Chennai by November 2015.

Principal photography for the film began on 21 August 2015 in Chennai, while filming mostly occurred in Malaysia, as well as Bangkok and Hong Kong.
In June 2015, director Pa. Ranjith announced his third directorial venture, which would follow his previous two films Attakathi (2012) and Madras (2014), with Rajinikanth via Twitter. Working with Ranjith would make Kabali Rajinikanth's first film with a novel director for the first time since his collaboration with S. Shankar in Sivaji (2007). In an interview with IndiaGlitz, producer S. Thanu revealed that Rajinikanth had personally asked him to produce the Ranjith-directed film. The producer's commercially successful Bairavi (1978) was Rajinikanth's first lead role film and the two had not collaborated since. It was speculated that Rajinikanth's role would be based on a real-life mob boss from Chennai. Santhosh Narayanan was confirmed as the film's music composer, continuing his partnership with Ranjith after the latter's previous two films. Ranjith also retained G. Murali, the cinematographer of Madras.
On 17 August 2015, Ranjith announced the title of the film to be Kabali and that Rajinikanth would play the role of Kabaliswaran.The makers of the film had earlier considered using the title Kaali, which was the title of Rajinikanth's 1980 film. As that film did not do well in the Tamil Nadu box office at the time, the makers passed on using it for the new film. Another title, Kannabhiran, was also considered but it was later found that the title's rights were already held by director Ameer Sultan for a future film.

Avarude Ravukal is an Upcoming Malayalam comedy film directed by Shanil Mohammed.The story pivots around Raji (Seema), a young sex worker, and three young men, two college students Babu (Ravikumar) who has a soft corner for her, Jayan (Sukumaran) and a school teacher Chandran (Soman). Raji loses her parents early in life leaving the responsibility of bringing up her younger brother Sudhakaran (Master Raghu) on her shoulders. Circumstances force her to a life of a sex worker.
